My Final Post :"(

Hello, my friends, and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be writing my final post on this blog. We have come to the end of this term and I want to talk about my opinions on the Educational Technologies class we had and the tasks we have completed to this day.  Before taking this class, I didn’t think that using technology in the language classroom would be this important for the student’s learning process. We started the term with a unit called 21st-century learning and I saw that using technology has a very important place in this century’s classrooms. As a teacher candidate, I find this class to be very important because if I didn’t have this class, I would probably use traditional methods to teach.  We have completed a lot of different tasks and I found some of them to be very beneficial and fun while others to be hard. If I had to choose one, I would choose the Padlet task as my favorite. To make the project we came together at one of my friends’ house and worked toget...

How to make a How to Video :)

Hello, my friends and welcome to my blog!  Today I will be talking about my experience making a how-to video.  We have come to the end of this term and this is our last project for the Educational Technologies class. In this project, we had a few options to choose from, and my friend Serra and I chose to record a how-to video since we had limited time till the finals, and making a digital story would be so hard for us.   It was kind of challenging for both of us to come up with an idea to record since we both stay in dormitories and have limited places. Then my friend Serra came up with the idea of recording a video about making delicious and healthy sandwiches when you stay in a dorm. We both liked the idea so she recorded the video in her dorm room. Then we made the editing on InShot which was quite easy. Lastly, we recorded our voices and added them to our video.   Overall, I think this can be a fun task to complete in the language classroom since it gi...

Hello my friends, and welcome to my blog !  In this post, I am going to be talking about my experience creating a digital film poster for my favorite book! This time for our Education Technologies class, we were supposed to create a digital poster for a book that we read before, thinking it would become a movie. I have chosen a book called “Red Queen” written by Victoria Aveyard.  I read this book series a few years ago and since then I have been praying for it to become a movie! Because of this, I got super excited when this task was given to us. I tried to find a good picture to use as the cover and this part was a bit challenging for me because I had too many ideas. When I found the picture it was time for me to edit it. For this part, I used two different apps, Picsart and InShot . I did all of the editings on my phone since it is easier for me. I really enjoyed this task so I would definitely consider giving similar tasks to my students in the future. Here is the fin...
