GOOD BYE MY FRIENDS :"

Hello my friends and welcome back to my blog!

Today I will be writing my last post as we have come to the end of this term already. I have been sharing the things we learned and did in our Current Issues in Teaching course and I hope that it was beneficial for you. Overall, I really enjoyed taking this course as I learned a lot about technology in education and I can see myself coming back to my blog page to check all the activities I have created and the websites I have used to hopefully use them in my lessons in the future.

Although I learned a lot, I must admit that creating all these activities was quite challenging as we had to be creative, come up with nice activities, and sit in front of our computers for hours and hours to complete one task. My favorite activity that I've created this year is AR/VR activity. Although it was challenging to complete, I found it very beneficial as a teaching material and I would definitely use it in my classes in the future. When it comes to my least favorite, it is the Corpus activity. I found it extremely challenging to complete as we struggled to find a way to integrate it into a teaching material and I don't really think that I would use it in my lessons as well.

If I had to give a piece of advice to anyone who is planning to take this course, it would be, "be patient and learn as much as you can!". Completing the tasks might seem challenging but all the information that we learn in this course is priceless! As a student who never learned English with education, I was quite confused about how to integrate it into my lessons in the future and this course definitely gave me lots of good ideas, and I feel more confident about the idea of technology integration in English classes now.

I don't know if I will ever be back here and continue to post so I think I should say my goodbyes to you now. Thank you for being around and reading my posts up to now. I hope to see you again :")

Till then, take care and be safe! xoxo -betül
